Katsuki howls in fury. “STOP IT!”
The man simply glares at him and tells him to hush before he starts to yank the chains again. Katsuki sees two scales fall in the water and more blood ooze from where they have fallen. The merman stirs and opens his eyes.
They are as beautiful as the rest of him: one is grey, the other turquoise… but both are dull, lifeless almost.
“I’ll get us out of here, I swear.”
